Originally designed for hardcore runners, Kahtoola traction footwear provides serious gripping power on frozen waters, with 10 tungsten carbide studs measuring just under 1/4’L on each foot. Though small, these studs deliver a firm ice bite without stressing your feet, even when you’re wearing boots with flexible soles. The technology includes an easy on/off, stretchable TPE elastomer harness with reinforced TPU eyelets, upward-facing traction plates to keep your NANOspikes securely in place, and dual-density TPU cleats at the studs for a firm, shock-resistant stride on any terrain. Flexible toe bale with recessed connections and a raised heel tab for effortless comfort. Maintains flexibility to -30°F. Simply fold in half to store when not in use.
